Zine Fest kerää queer zinejä zine-kirjastoon yhteistyössä Helsinki Priden kanssa.Zine Fest is collecting zines for a zine library in collaboration with Helsinki Pride.

Missä kirjasto sijaitsee? // Where's this library located?

Kirjasto sijaitsee 29.5. – 30.6.2026 ajan Bar tÿpossa, Tekstin talossa, Lintulahdenkatu 3, Helsinki.

Koostuuko kirjasto pelkästään zineistä? // Does the library consist of only zines?

Kirjastoa tullaan täydentämään myös kustannetuilla teoksilla Suomen sarjakuvaseuran toimesta.The library will be supplemented with publications provided by the Finnish Comics Association.

Sopiiko teokseni kirjastoon? // Is my work suitable for the library?

Toivomme, että zinet käsittelevät tavalla tai toisella queer-teemoja (esim. kokemusta identiteetistä/kehosta, queer-hahmoja yms). Suomen sarjakuvaseuran henkilökunta arvioi saapuneiden zinejen sopivuuden kirjastoon.We hope that the zines would, in one way or the other, have queer themes present. (for example experiences about identity/body, queer characters etc.) The Finnish Comics Association will assess the suitability of the provides zines.

Miten lahjoitan zineni? // How do I donate my zine?

Tuo zine(t) henkilökohtaisesti tai postita se niin, että se on perillä Suomen sarjakuvaseuralla viimeistään 29.5. Vaihtoehtoisesti zinen voi toimittaa Zine Festin järkkääjälle sopimalla tapaamisen: [email protected]. *Emme voi luvata, että pystymme ottamaan kaikkialla Suomessa vastaan zinejä.Bring your zine(s) personally or post them so that they are at the Comics Association by 29.5. the latest. Alternatively, you can deliver your zine to a Zine Fest magpie by arranging a meeting: [email protected]. *We can't guarantee that we will be able to come receive zines everywhere in Finland.

Mitä saan vastineeksi lahjoituksestani? // What do I get for donating?

Zine Fest Special pride edition erikoistarran! 1 tarra per teos (5 eri zineä = 5 tarraa, 5 samaa zineä = 1 tarra). Tarran saa 2026 Helsingin sarjakuvafestivaaleilta syyskuussa (18.-20.9.) Zine Festin yhteismyyntipöydältä tai sovittaessa, jossain muussa tapahtumassa. Pidämme kirjaa lahjoituksista, jotta tulet saamaan tarrasi.Zine Fest Special pride edition sticker! 1 sticker per work (5 different zines = 5 stickers, 5 copies of the same zine = 1 sticker). You can pick up your stickers at the Helsinki Comics festival in September (18. - 20.9.) from Zine Fest's communal sales table or if arranged, in some other event. We keep tabs of the donations, so that you will get your stickers.

Tarvitseeko tarran saanti tietoja? // Do I need to give information to get the sticker?

Tarvitsemme tarraa varten nimesi, teoksesi nimen ja kappalemäärän. Jos teoksia on useita, kirjoita kaikkien teosten nimet ja kappalemäärät erikseen. Lähetä meille sähköpostilla ([email protected]) nämä tiedot kun olet tuonut tai postittanut teoksen/teokset.For sticker redemption we need your name, the name of your work and unit count. If you have more than one work, write the names of each work and unit separately. Send us this information via email ([email protected]) once you have delivered or mailed the work(s).

Kuinka monta zineä voin lahjoittaa? // How many zines can I donate?

Voit lahjoittaa niin monta kuin haluat ja vaikka useamman kappaleen samaa teosta.You can donate as many as you want, and even multiples of the same work.

Mitä luovutettujen zinejen tekijänoikeuksille tapahtuu? // What happens to the copyrights of the donated zines?

Zinen tekijä omistaa kaikki oikeudet. Zine Fest, Helsinki Pride tai Suomen sarjakuvaseura eivät ota oikeuksia sarjakuvaan.Zine’s original creator will retain all rights. Zine Fest, Helsinki Pride or Finnish Comics Association do not claim rights to any of the donated comics.

Ovatko zineni turvassa? // Are my zines safe?

Kirjasto on avoimessa, moneen taipuvassa baarissa, jossa zinet ovat luettavissa päivisin. Emme voi taata etteivät zinet lähde jonkun innostuneen matkaan, joten emme suosittele lahjoittamaan originaaleja tai teoksia, jotka on 100% varmuudella saatava takaisin kunnossa.The library is held in an open, versatile bar, where anyone can access them during the day. We cannot guarantee that some misguided enthusiast won’t walk away with your zine, so we don’t recommend you donating originals or works that you 100% want back.

Mitä jos haluan zineni takaisin tapahtuman jälkeen? // What if I want my zine(s) back after the event?

Zinejä ei voida postittaa takaisin lähettäjille, mutta noudosta voi sopia Suomen Sarjakuvaseuran kanssa, [email protected]. Mikäli et halua noutaa, menee zinet harakoille (Sarjakuvaseuran arkistoon). Lahjoitetut zinet säilötään osana sarjakuvahistoriaa.Zine(s) cannot be mailed back to the sender, but retrieval can be arranged with the Finnish Comics Association, [email protected]. If you don’t want to retrieve your zine(s) it will go to the magpies (Comics Association’s archive). The donated zines will be preserved as a part of comics history.
